Hey,

Just wanted to pass by and say hi. I don`t currently own a miata due to i`m doing research on my next car i recently lost my rx-7 fd because it was stolen and stripped anyways i like mazda, the reason i`m looking at a miata is i went to the dragon couple days ago as a passanger with a friend and met up with this guy with a miata mx-5 with a FM2 and ecu with roll cage and really good suspension set up, at first i thought he would be in the last pack with the slower cars( we divided them as to who could push hard) but he was right there with the evo all night and day i was honestly shocked.

The guy didnt seemed like he wanted to talk much about his car so i have to find out with that kit and ecu how much horsepower is normal?

Btw i`m not a small kid i`m 30 yrs who`s been involved with racing and cars all my life i have never thought or even looked at miatas to be honest so i have no idea what the turbo kids put out.

FM2 could mean 200 hp or 270 hp. somewhere in between is pretty common.

there are cheaper ways to do that kind of power if you look at the sticky threads in the DIY turbo section.

Lol i`m not rich by any means i`ve had my shares of turbod cars, RX7 with cheaped out turbo massive problems, 1979 mini cheap turbo massive problems, 1969 datsun 510 turbo few problems but still cheap.1970 datsun 620 problems.

I`m at a point where i just want to be with little problems.
