Default S. FL Miata

Hey,

'Been lurking for about a year i think finally decided to post as i've gotten more aggressive with the upgrades and going down roads less traveled.

So far this would be my second miata. the first was set up very conservative with only the FM 2 suspension set up (kyb agx/FM springs/FM sways). Got rear ended a bunch of times (blind intersection near work) by retard drivers who "didn't see me." So i got a second chance. The new car (Lulu) has seen better days. She had a small rear end collision and Geico threw her to the wolves at a junk yard. I picked her up under the rebuildable title, which was quite easy to get repaired with the old miata as a parts car. For the past couple months i've been swapping everything over and in the process making plans for what's to come.

I've had previous boosting experience (eljefe305 over at mazdas247.com) with a protege that i put the mental addiction kit on and tuned with a haltech FMU. So now that i've gotten used to the fun of the light weight, balanced, RWD miata, it's time to go boost again. Other than that, the future holds wider rims to replace the "before i knew better sportmax 002's", coil-overs, and that will just about complete the car sans turbo upgrades until an eventual monster is created. Well at least thats the idea but everyone knows a car is never complete or finished.

I'm also over at clubroadster.net

I guess that makes at least 3 Spanish speaking members on this forum. Us and the Canadians are taking over!

I agree with removing those wheels but the muffler doesn't bother me

BTW, other than the wheels; nice car!

if it makes you feel any better my english is a lot better than my spanish!

the thing about the muffler is that it's just the tip welded on to the stock muffler, no good.

About the languages, my Spanish is much better than my English

Regarding the muffler; if it's just the tip, I agree with you.

BTW when do we start turboing the car?

done planning.. it's going to be a greddy based kit with starion intercooler.
and the MSPNP to make sure everything stays where it's supposed to.

the only thing i'm waiting to really make a decision on is the injectors... from what i've read about the greddy is that 300cc is more than enough for stock internals so i'll probably do that.

good stuff man

I have some 1.8 stuff if u need, i still got my injs (265cc i think which would prob serve u well till bout 8psi/170whp--not sure what ur goals are), also some other stuff...PP, misc odds and ends, and will prob have some leftover turbo bits/pieces...
Whatever I have can be had at dirt cheap, just lookign to get it out of the garage and help out whoever needs..while making something
No pressure just throwing it out there lol
