I think they are all similar, the food was good and there was a good band playing lots of dance music. The dance floor was full of mixed partners, you just got up and started dancing and someone would dance with you.

Small world, though - I'm older n you, so my car stuff is commensurately aged. My Mustang is a 66 GT Conv., and my Miata is a 91 BRG. Biggest difference is both the Mustang and Miata are apart, so I have another stock 91 Red as a DD. My wife has a 90 Mariner Blue we bought back in 95 as our first Miata - and it was her idea as I didn't want anything to do with that little wuss mobile. It quickly changed my mind as to what a great car it is.

Hi Henry, yes it is a small world as I used to travel to Greenville SC ~2X/yr for work from '06-'10. I like your little town, I liked the historic district and eating at Falls Park by the gorge. I hope to have time to pass through there on my way to the 50th in Charlotte, I wanted my wife to experience dinner at the gorge.

We have very similar tastes in cars and colors. As far as I can tell the '01 BRG doesn't have metal flake, just that special green that goes so well with the wood and tan interior.

As you can see my mustang is also still apart and I'm hoping to change the rear wheel bearings in the Miata this weekend as well as install some MSM bilstein shocks, so it will be apart and hopefully back together before Monday.

Yep - G'vlle has done a heck of a job with its downtown. I thought the city was nuts when they tore down a perfectly good highway bridge at the Falls. Now it is a real Gem with that pedestrian suspension bridge in its place. We actually live out in the country west of Greenville, but if I listed "Pelzer" no one would know where the heck I was!

Your 01 SE, did it come stock with all that wood trim or has it been added over time? Whichever, it looks nice.

My 91 only had a wood shift knob and parking brake handle - which my son grabbed and put in his 90 as mine went to old school aluminum.

Yes, the interior is all stock. The Nardi wood wheel, shift knob and hand brake are part of the BRG package. I need to figure out how to remove the brake handle to strip it and re-poly it. I think the radio/shifter surround would have looked better if it matched the color of the other wood too. I'm tempted to do my own.
