Newish Member- multiple Miata owner- Neg Cats Already!?
 

Well, it was recommended to me that I do an intro post so here goes....:)

I've been on here many years as five-o-joe but had issues with my old e-mail and had to re-register.

I Currently own a 96 turbo (details in sig) but have owned 6 miatas over the years, from 2 naturally aspirated, to 1 JR supercharged, 1 V8 naturally aspirated and 1 V8 vortech supercharged. I've been a long time racer of mustangs (stick shift classes) and gravitate to high hp street legal variants (~1,000 hp with A/C). That said, I've always been drawn back to the miatas as there is NOTHING I enjoy driving more.

My current car is one I will likely keep for many many years. It is my first turbo Miata but not my first turbo car. I raced a turbo Talon TSI back in the day in the NOPI NDRA series in the turbo 4 class.

Im truly in love with the turbo 96 and enjoy it more than my v8 cars in the past......it just FEELS totally different.....hard to explain.

I haven't posted a whole lot over the years, but have read a whole lot. I typically keep on topic with my posts but occasionally just can't keep my mouth shut and speak my mind, but try to be professional about it...........hence the negative cats.

While I'm no expert, I enjoy helping where I can and no question is a dumb question to me. If I've been there and done it, have personal experience and can save someone some time, I'm glad to help. I enjoy talking cars......that's why I'm here after all.
