Hi everyone,
Bought my 2000 Base model a couple months ago and have been pretty much consumed with getting it back into shape from the PO. New shocks and sway bars Front + Rear General tune up + fluids New wheels + tires Car has 130xxx miles and is basically sound except for the usual Midwest fastener corrosion (I'd forgotten how much fun it is to get rusted bolts/nuts apart underneath a car on your back). Future plans: 1. Replacement ECU (bought a used DIYPNP and trying to figure it out before installing... electronics aren't my strongest suit) 2. Either Turbo or SC... haven't completely decided yet. 3. Dissasemble, paint + rebush, reassemble suspension over the winter. 4. Drive, drive, drive.... Anyway, I've been amazed at the level of information I've gotten from this site and hope I can give something back. Thanks. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1369402767 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1369402767 |

Welcome!!! Trying to get the alternator control sorted out before I install it. Like I said, electronics isn't my strength. I can wire + wrench but working with a breadboard and solder is over the top stuff for me. |

You don't need to solder anything, necessarily. Just need to know how to use a laptop. |

That, I'm not bad at. I probably have way too much computer stuff lying around. Being self-employed makes you self-reliant.
Thanks. |
Thanks for joining, bahurd!
