Default Newb in TN, just went boosted.

Just moved to TN a few weeks ago. Moved with my '97 miata with all of FM's suspension, bushings, etc. Just bolt ons and tweaks for power. Got here and found a '99 with an FMII and picked it up too. Okay with turbos but admitidly the Hydra is a little above my head. i have a bit of experience with subaru's and used to build engines. Fairly experianced with a wide range of mechanics. Off-road/bikes/cars/ and toys. If anyone wants to reinvent the wheel or prepare for the zombie apocolyps let me know.

PS: sorry for spelling and ramblings to follow

Welcome! I'm just north of you in Nashville. I'm pretty sure the FM2 car used to autox with the local SCCA region.

Yeah he did. Baught it of him little over a week ago. Sadly turbo it blown and need to reset the hydra. Just ordered FM's radiator and a few other bits. Debating doing the timing belt cause about to have the motor torn to a longblock for cleaning. Any opinions on his driving style/habits would be stellar so I can narrow down any other things that may need tweaks. Dunno if your friends or not so don't wanna insult the dude. Also any help with local meets would be sweet.

Welcome to the forum! That lip is sick on the 97 and what I can see of the the 99 looks pretty good. I won't comment on wheel choices... but I do like your bike choice. Roomate rides a red one.

Thanks. The wheels are what came with the cars. Seems when I'm ready and have the cash for wheels something I own dies and needs fixed/replaced. Need to start selling crap. Maybe my projector. Don't use it anymore. Hmm time to go digging in my storage unit

I can't say that I ever paid that close attention to be honest.
