Default Another damn noob.

Yep. I was directed here because someone told me you guys knew all about what lowering springs would work best with my FCM bumpstops. Well, that and I'm thinking about chopping the windshield off my STS Miata, gutting it and dropping in a turbo to go run XP. I figured I might be able to find some useful info here.

Not enough information to answer #1. I assume that you will be going to 275/35/15 A6's on 15x9 or 15x10 wheels but I don't know that. Also, we don't know what shocks you have or are willing to get.

#2 will be easier to tell you what to do. Search the many turbo threads and come up with a budget, HP goal, DIY or check book racer, then come back and ask specifics. THe detailed questions that you ask will show us how well you researched for yourself. We are a helpful bunch but won't spoon feed you.

Also, you might check a build thread by omaharam. He just hacked one for XP.

BTW, Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the reply.

#1 was sarcasm. Sorry, it lost it's effectiveness from my grey matter to the keyboard.

#2 I saw that build on SCCAForums.com. Damn nice! I'm anxious to see it in person.

I got the sarcasm. Cut the springs. Simple.

BTW Geoff, if you are looking for a Torsen/ 1.8 drivetrain, there is a wrecked 96 C package on Craigslist on the south side of Indy that might be a good start toward your XP build.
