NOOB in Tampa Bay Area of Florida

Well, I have decided to introduce myself because I finally read the "NOOBS Read This First STICKY!" (Sorry, no pictures have been uploaded yet.) UMM

I fit the almost thirty, married with two children, and a mortgage. :D

Anyways, I own a 93 LE with 70k on it and I Love it. Maintenance is up to date except for the timing belt and water pump (and other small things related).

Modifications that the car came with are:
Sebring m45
Afpr
Msd timing box
Almost busted VLSD

Oh, and I love Autocrossing!

Welcome,

Lots of members here in the Tampa Bay area. A few of us on the site that live in the area get together from time to time.

Any big plans with the car, or are you pretty happy with what you have?

Welcome, Tampa guy.

Don't wait to get stranded before changing that diff!

Whew, that was not as painful as I thought.

Scott, thanks for the break the ice welcome. :)

Troy, I do have plans for the car... upgrading my engine management system with something better than an AFPR and msd timing box. Replacing the VLSD setup with a Torsen setup. I could keep going on, but my current goal is a stable 160-170 WHP.

Greg, Whats up you crazy Russian!!! I decided to stop being a lurker on here.

Steve, I know I should get it swapped soon. I am lucky enough to only drive it when I want to, which is often, because it is the fun car.

That is a good place to start.

If I were in your shoes, I would make the diff, THE top priority. I remember my 1.6 car making me stranded just moments after I heard the first hum of something wrong.

I am trying to line up a 3.9 torsen before it breaks, but those rear ends move quick. If I had to, I would put a 1.6 open diff to hold me over.

AAA is a good thing!
