Hello from the Nürburgring!
Hi guys,
Can't believe I've only just found this forum.
I've got a 1989 Euno Roadster as my everyday track car here at the 'ring - you can see more of it here:
Onboard 8m20s lap and more spec on my blog.
It's turbo'd using the horrible chinese kit off eBay, and I need to swap the crappy 'cracks every five minutes' manifold for a cast version. I guess I should go start a thread somewhere to find out more?
Anyways... HELLOS

Welcome to the forum, that spot is on my bucket list, as I'm sure is the same with almost everyone on here. On that same train of thought, lets make sure it stays available:

Umm... seriously, I live here and make my business here. You can't just go telling me what to do...
I will not be signing that stupid petition and I will not be telling other people to. You should probably understand a little bit more about the subject before you start the online petition evangelism too.

It's a total misconception that the track is going to close. It was state-owned and operated since it opened in 1927, and while it never really made a profit on paper, the actual state grew a whole industry around and tax income was much healthier than before (i.e. when the Eifel was just trees and sheep).
Unfortunately the modern ages caught up with the track after the ridiculous efforts to 'modernise' the circuit with Euro-Disney-style 'enhancements'.
With no consultation and no warning, the state signed the whole thing over to two entrepreneurs for five years.
It sucks. It blows. Whatever you want to say. BUT... at this point it can't be changed, only managed and controlled. 'Save The 'Ring' wants this contract nullified and management returned to the state.
MY 2˘:
It was already breaking under state management, albeit slowly. I don't like the new private leasers either (they have moved everything in-house, they're anti-competitive and they're killing local businesses like mine). But there's a solution to be found and turning back the clock isn't it.

If you want to spend the money the ARTech manifold is a very well fabricated piece and will also flower better than a cast manifold. I'm sure you could find a used cast manifold around here for pretty cheap though. I looked at the specs you listed for your car and I'm assuming you're still on stock exhaust? If so, you'll definitely want to upgrade to a full 3" setup.
