New Miata owner in NE
that's Nebraska, not New England or northeast or whatever you might be able to come up with.
ANYWAYS, upon reading the noob guide I realized I didn't quite fit in with any of the aforementioned stereotypes perfectly. My name is Kyle, I'm a 22 year old college student that works my *** off for what I've got. I've been fortunate in the past year to have made out quite well from a few of my neighbor's insurance companies (my last car was hit twice, the last time it was totaled and I didn't want to deal with it anymore so I let them scrap it). With the insurance money from my car getting hit while parked in front of my house I purchased a 92 miata from a guy here in town. Its not the prettiest, its got some paint problems and a little bit of cancer down by the rear driver's wheel well. But for 2200 bucks with 67k on the clock, a new water pump, timing belt, clutch, and shocks? I can live with some paint and some rust.
My other car is a 93 rx7, black, r1 package, precision 6265, street ported motor, greddy FMIC, 3" TBE (I can use these abbreviations here and everyone knows what the hell I'm talking about right?) apexi PFC standalone computer, ID 1000 primary injectors and 2200 secondaries, some CCW classics that need tires and some MT ET Streets mounted to the stock wheels. Should be running in the next week or two (I, yes I, me) rebuilt the motor after blowing it up.
I like autocrossing and would like to try a road course, and being in Nebraska I do get pulled into drag racing sometimes.
cliffs for lazy people: My last daily got hit, bought a miata with the insurance money, have an rx7 with a big single turbo that doesn't run yet because the rotary blew up.

I actually don't have any of it at the moment, bought it last night and the first thing I did was drive it home and rip out the stereo the previous owner had installed (and somehow managed to break) and put mine in. I woke up and came to work today and am still there, I should snap some tomorrow.

never got it to the track prior to popping the motor. It was making 260/230 on a mustang dyno prior to getting a good tune on it. That tune on a similar car made 300whp on a mustang and 330 on a dynojet, so figure it was somewhere around there which would probably have put me in the high 12s (those numbers are usually good for low 12s, but I need the driver mod)
