Hi from CLT

Hi, I'm Nick.

I'm new to Miatas. I have a 90' that I picked up in So. Cal and drove back home (Charlotte,NC). It looks like the 180k miles were all hard driven.

Plans? Autox of some kind, but first I need to make it more drivable!

You can guess what my other ride is by the wheels.....

Haha, the mini's wheels actually look awesome on the miata. Welcome and I look forward to seeing more of your car.

I think those wheels are cool in a twisted sort of way. I have a buddy from my Saab days that lives in Mint Hill. Welcome.

Howdy. I lived in Charlotte from '89-'97 before heading out West. Pretty ballsy to grab a used car and drive it across country. Good luck with the project!

In retrospect it was not the smartest idea. haha

But it was an awesome adventure - and a great time. Other then a few misc issues (headlights put in sideways, 3 bent wheels, and the radio quit in AZ) it was a great trip. The little 1.6l actually got around 32MPG.
