Default Hi from CLT

Hi, I'm Nick.

I'm new to Miatas. I have a 90' that I picked up in So. Cal and drove back home (Charlotte,NC). It looks like the 180k miles were all hard driven.

Plans? Autox of some kind, but first I need to make it more drivable!

You can guess what my other ride is by the wheels.....

Haha, the mini's wheels actually look awesome on the miata. Welcome and I look forward to seeing more of your car.

I think those wheels are cool in a twisted sort of way. I have a buddy from my Saab days that lives in Mint Hill. Welcome.

Howdy. I lived in Charlotte from '89-'97 before heading out West. Pretty ballsy to grab a used car and drive it across country. Good luck with the project!

In retrospect it was not the smartest idea. haha But it was an awesome adventure - and a great time. Other then a few misc issues (headlights put in sideways, 3 bent wheels, and the radio quit in AZ) it was a great trip. The little 1.6l actually got around 32MPG.

What part of Charlotte you live in? I'm down by Southpark if you ever wanted to meet up sometime. Any mods yet? plans?
