Default Its all been done before, I get to do it twice!

As you may have guessed from my screen name, I drive a black 99 NB1. I bought the car near the end of last summer with a set of 16x8 Rota Slips and Megan EZ-Street coilovers. The car was slammed and the PO claimed it was corner balanced at that ride height. Not sure how that worked as the front lower control arms were pointing up when I took the wheels off. So I took the coilovers all the way out and set them up correctly. The car no longer has the slammed ride height, but I can actually drive it now. Since then I have picked up a set of Drag RPF1 knockoffs with tires I have since destroyed and a hard top.

On to the pics.

The day she came home. The Rota's are sold now.

Getting ready for the first autocross. I stole the wife's RPF1's for the day. She was running NT01's on another set of wheels.

A little dental work for the car.

Cleaning up the head lights

First time out since the winter, with about 4 months of dust on her. Since I autocross the car and wanted the suspension travel I brought the back of the car up about 3/4 of an inch to get the stance correct.

Plans for the future involve 15x9 6UL's, and a Hard Dog roll bar that will fit under the hard top. I will eventually do away with the EZ-Street's for something else. I would like something from Fat Cat, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. The car also needs a new diff. The open diff and I do NOT get along.

Oh and I should add this. My wife also has her own 99 NB. Her's was stock with some crappy aftermarket 17's on it when we met. Since then she has added the silver RPF1's and an FM springs and shocks. We also swapped out the worn stock clutch for an FM Happy Meal. She races also and is getting really fast. This summer we took her car to Arnold NE for the Sandhills Open Road Challenge. We ran in the 90MPH class and took 4th. Not bad for our first year out.

Thanks for looking.

It is our 66 Ford Thunderbird. One day to be on air ride and 18's and for some reason the wife is really wanting to go flat or satin black with it.
