Race car driver from SoCal

Hey guys,

19 year old, going off to college for Mechanical Engineering with a high interest in cars and racing. Been racing karts for around 11 years and cars for 4 years (Mainly MX-5s, Spec Miatas, and a Turbo Miata here and there). I am here just like all of you to seek help when needed and give help when I can.

So if any of you guys are looking for tips on shock adjustment/damper adjustments, driving tips and tricks, and other crap that may involve a racers mind, then shoot me an email or message.

If youre interested in getting into racing, I could help point you in the right direction as well.

Check out my site as well if you think I am just some hack.

You won 1st place at Sebring? Pretty damn smooth. Let me know when you want to come back. That's my home track. You won't have to wait for a ride from the airport this time.

Welcome to the forum.

I'm running Road Atlanta in September with NASA if you are looking to fill gaps in your schedule with some historic tracks.

Ahh. That means you will be there October 16-18. I will be there for NASA's event Sept 13-15 NASA :: South East Region
Feel free to fly out if you want some extra practice at the track. It isn't nearly as complex as Sebring but it takes balls to come through turn 12 wide open onto the front straight.
Some fun at turn 12

Wait a minute. You are six wins for six races in your division nationally? Six first place podium finishes for six starts? Fawk. Good job, man. Good job.

Wow, with that title this was the last thing I expected.

Most noobs here who call themselves race car drivers are nothing of the sort. Welcome.

Welcome aboard. Be aware that the crew here are banal, crass, rude, overly aggressive, and generally not fit for polite society. It's kind of like prison: don't show weakness, but don't try to be the baddest guy on the block if you roll alone.

That said, I spent a summer as an assistant crew member for the Barber Pro Series back when it was a spec open-wheel format (Barber Dodge). It was pretty neat to see some of the guys from that year go on to other venues (Roger Yasukawa, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Joey Hand, Andy Lally, Jon Fogarty, et al). The Skip Barber school and series can be a great launching platform.
