Saying Hi as I start phase 2 of my Exocet build, boost!
 

I've currently got an Exocet race chassis and I will be planning to boost it soon. I live in SoCal and use this car for track days and autoX. Current goodies on it are a VVT engine controlled by MS3Pro, FM Vmaxx track suspension, 4.1 Torsen, 5 spd, 245/40/15 RC-1s.

Right now I am in the process of of doing all the supporting mods before boosting. I've currently installed a Walbro 190hp and FF 640s, and flex fuel sensor is going in since I do plan to run E85. I've also got a lightweight flywheel and clutch that will go in soon.

As far as the turbo parts I am going with the Kraken low mount manifold + DP, EFR 6258, and 3in exhaust. Most of the inter cooler routing and which to use is still a TBD for me at this point.

My goal at this point is ~225-250 hp to be safe on the stock internals. All the big parts are on order so I hope to get everything installed in the next few months.

Welcome! EFR will be a hoot in that thing.

One of the best thing about the exo is you feel the HP bump 2x but one of the worse is you get so much less grip due to lower weight. I recently went from 196whp to about 278whp on ( FF640 + Kraken mani + EFR 6258 )and it scared the crap out of me the first time I got on it hard on cold street tires ( 245 Rivals ). The rear almost immediate tried to out run the front. Around 225whp would be sweet spot ( IHMO ) on street tires without having to worry about which way you're pointed.

My last track day I nearly spun out on the out lap (caught on video too!) because the tires were cold. I have to drive pretty aggressively to get 245/40/15 RC-1s up to temp and before that I definitely have to worry about which way it is pointed even at stock power.
