Time to introduce myself
I'm Jay from Austin, TX. I joined the forum a while ago and have been trying to learn what I can about Miatas.
I don't have a Miata right now, but I'm looking for one to use a track car. After I broke my daily driver RX-8 at a track day, I realized I needed a dedicated car. |
How did you break the RX-8?

I spun off the track, then back on, at Willow Springs. There's a drop off and when I came back onto the track, it broke the wheel, lower control arm, steering knuckle, and steering rack. Plus all the damage to the body from the cloud of golf ball sized gravel. I'm just glad there weren't any cars close behind me. After that, I realized I need better safety equipment and a car that isn't financed in case I destroy it. |
