Thumbs up Hey guys

I am new to the page and looking for some help and advice with certain things. I drive a 2012 Chrysler 300 with full boltons and I just recently picked up a 1996 Miata. I recently bought a brand new long block 1.8L engine for a swap and a Garrett T28 turbo. I am purchasing the megasquirtpnp and 550cc injectors. the car is about to get a new paintjob and wheels. Look forward to being apart of the Miata community

1. Install the 1.8L
2. Get a 1.8L differential as the 1.6L ones are known to be weaker
3. Make sure 1.8L is running great as stock
4. Install the Megasquirt on your stock setup and learn to tune, slowly acquire your turbo parts along the way
5. Once you're a megasquirt tuning master, swapping on the turbo bits & tuning will be a breeze.

something wrong with the 1.8 that is in it? 96 would be stock with a 1.8. so far the plan you have is solid.

No nothing wrong with it. Just wanted to have a brand new engine and know exactly whats done to it rather than guessing from the past 6 owners :/
I bought the car for $650 and will be dropping about $7500 to make it new again. its hard spending that much on it but I want a fast reliable Miata.
