Goodfellow is solely a training base, I think you know what that means... The retardedness is strong around here.

For example, yesterday I was issued an M16 for the purpose of carrying it around for three weeks. Since weapons can't go in POVs, I have to hand off to a private to go shower after PT, and have to turn it in every evening to leave post. It may be good training for the noobs but *I* don't think reclass ought to do it.

Holy shit that's gay. When I was in AIT we had some re-classes there and they didn't have to do any of the gay shit we did. You're pretty much getting boned by the Army on that one. Are you int he same company with newbies or are all the re-classes on their own in another one?

I am permanent party at wackland and it is still extremely gay. We have to set a good example for the basic trainees going through the grueling AF basic training in nice air conditioned dorms and eating shrimp and ribs in basic.

WELL, depends on how much shrimp there is, of they are low they serve NY steaks instead. But seriously, I didnt find out that I could eat the food of the turn-wheels that had cupcakes n' shit until the last week I was there, they just scared us away from it.

As for me, I stole pop-tarts and brought them up to the dorms.

I was happy to get gatorade. Never even got milk.


Kitchen duty was my only time I got good stuff.

lolz, I did warehouse duty, so we ate MREs there, but KP was the shit! the KP ladies feel bad for us for some reason, and gave us stuff!


Ahh, yes, "gatorade", the rumored boner-killer. The eggs were powder and tasted like ass, but the chicken-fried steak was good! I think i was 320th TRS.

Shit man, at DLI and out here we're mixed together. Reclass was separate at my AIT at Huachuca and that's how it ought to be.

I definitely remember shrimp (I was there last summer), but I never got steak. Lucky bastards. The Cheese Tortellini MRE was probably the best meal I had in basic. Those cupcakes were not worth the getting up at 0130 and doing KP for 18 hours.

Sad face, I got out when my BOP to Travis was denied. Four years at Mountain Home was just too much.

yeah, from what I hear travis is also a hard one, since its large and has alot of people... but lucky me I guess?

We got ribs on Easter. I had my cell phone hidden under the insoles of the boots i never wore. I was a dirt bag and still got honor graduate. Those giant ass muffins they had were awesome in basic. Some days, I even pull a 341 or two. Then i tell em I know their TI. Since Wilford Hall is closing, and they only need 5 Airmen at Fort Sam Houston, I might be going to Travis. Or hopefully, training out of nutritional medicine. That job is so fail.
