Explain what? The rusty-on-purpose, slammed on 0-offset wheels with stretched tires corolla?

Or the non-matching wheeled, cheap-lipped, ebay turbo'd Miata whose hood got attacked with a chainsaw?

not rusty on purpose, -12 actually and what's wrong with that, that's not even stretched (I work with tires all day, I know the fitment guides).

ordered a set of 4 (they sent me two and put the other two on back order, still on back order from over a year ago), agreed but not quite rice, agreed again, also not quite rice, just stupidly done.

A)set your definition of "rice" straight.
B)start being helpful to a newb, not just act like you're better one.

ok, thank you!

I'm not drifting this car. Just because I like drifting does not mean that's all I want to do. Ive wanted a Miata to start running track days for a while now, just a coincidence that its the car someone wanted to trade for my rusty pos corolla, that was only supposed to be a beater daily.

Ive had a few buddies that run at PIR, one even owns his own ford-spec car and a lotus. been waiting to run bike days with my cbr also, but not until I get my gearbox issues fixed.

Rice = Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement. Aka slammed, low offset wheels, stretched tires (stretched meaning the wheel width is wider that the tread width, which those clearly are).

Its OK to be a ricer. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean you should deny it. Embrace your inner 14 year old fast and furious child. And keep telling yourself that -12 offset wheels are totally functional.

-you do understand that the corolla is in no means slammed right?
-205's on 8"wide wheels is not a stretch. it is in the normal fitment guide of the tire. where do you work again?
-on a corolla you barely have 4"of backspacing room in the front so 8" wide -12 offset is equal to... 4" of backspacing! unless I wanted to run 6" wide rims you have to go low offsets, its not like a Honda or a Miata. Don't speak what you don't know, im not trying to tell you how your Miata's setup is wrong because your center of gravity is too high or some crap.
yes I know it affects scrub angle, its a corolla not a Miata. It wasn't designed to be a sports car.

as far as the Miata Ive had it a whole 3 weeks? sorry if I haven't raised it back up to where its functional, I obviously have a lot of **** to fix.

again, have anything productive to say? if not then please go away.

Woody I like you man, but srsly it's not a winning battle. (8" tire with 205s it not normal fitment though).

All I do at work is tires, we are supposed to follow the fitment guides and aren't allowed to stretch tires. 205 is the minimum allowable tread width for an 8" wide.
If you consider stretch as any rim width being wider than tread width, then I mount tires all day as oem fitment that would be considered stretch by that definition.
either way, Im gonna go play robot unicorn attack now because that game IS THE ****!

bro but its super jdm bro, that's an sr20 turbo, theres nothing better.

honestly though, this is the slowest thing off the line (aka trying to go from a stoplight) and it bogs like crazy. engine management my ***, Id rather be running it n/a at this point. Its hard to decide where to spend my money first because the thing looks like ****, runs like ****, and rides like ****.
If I hadn't been wanting one for so long, I'd be flipping it to some jdm fanboy and finishing my z car.

I kinda like this noob. At least he's going to ATTEMPT to save this car from the previous retarded owners who made it fail.
Hopefully he doesn't end up failaids and ragequit like the last 2 noobs that bought this car.

oh and quit bitching about his fitment. Even Sav and Emilio run 205 on an 8. And the offset argument for the corolla makes sense, if its true that is.

BTW if you really mean what you say, that miata is going to need A LOT of work to get it back to decent condition. The original owner really really tried to go full retard with it
