Turbo Miata from Costa Rica
Hi there! I'm new to this forum although I've consumed information from it in the past. I'm from Argentina but I live in Costa Rica and I recently completed a turbo build on my 1993 Mazda Miata NA (an MX5 really).
Forged internals, TD05H, 28" Intercooler, 2.5" Intercooler piping and 2.5" exhaust with a MF muffler. I'm using an FMU for now but I have a Megasquirt waiting to be installed. Here's a video of my first time at the track with it being turbo, it last Sunday on something costarricans call Interclubes: More to come! |
Welcome to the forum! I don't think we have others from Costa Rica here. What are your plans for the car?
The light colored 4 door car at the end was running a much better driving line than you were! |
Welcome!
Forged innards eh? So when's the bigger turbo going in? After the megasquirt? Also... prepare for the style bar hate. |

That bar is unsafe for racing. It's decorative, not structural.
But you could maybe add a zip line between the hoops since you're in CR. |
