Hey, how are you?
Yes, I'm de-noobing myself. Alright, my name is Colton and I am in south east Tennessee, 19 years old and I have recently purchased a 1992 N/A....N/A. It's got close to 190k miles on it but the compression test and leak down test were in good shape after I threw a new head gasket on it. I was skeptical about buying a miata at first......... Well now all I can say is that crying would definately be a factor if something was to happen to Lauren. Yes, Lauren is the miata's name. I want to go turbo! I have installed a mspnp and Lc-1 with the afm removed. It is running well on the base tune with some slight tweaks to the fuel table and running with the afr target table on. Currently the tired suspension is getting replaced. (koni adjustable sport shocks, some kind of tokico springs, racing beat f&r sway bars and a prothane bushing kit.) SO... How are you?.... Edit: my signature is incorrect, the afm is in the trash can

Welcome to the site, nice to see a noob that's already done some research and headed in the right direction.
Sounds like you're still on the base timing map, which is extremely conservative. If you've got your fuel map pretty well straightened out, take a look at this this thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquirt-18/dyno-tuning-take-look-fm-we-want-your-timingz-18648/, several members share their timing map and it may provide some insight as far as picking up some decent power over the basemap. I seem to remember that Flyin Miata's base map has some significant timing advance over DIY's, while staying well in the safe range.

Thanks for the welcom. Im glad that cleared it up for you Fae haha.
I was thinking about sha-ka-weeda as its name but that was shot down pretty quick. Pdexta, theres some good info in that link, much appreciated! I will try to get some good pics of the car and some more technical details tonight after I pull the suspension out.
