Washington state noob to boosting

Hello everyone.

I am a self employed welder/fabricator, and mechanic when I have to. I have no problems working on cars but don't like doing it for a living.

I bought my first Miata in September, it is a 1992 classic red 1.6L 5 speed and came with PS and AC. I have removed the AC completely as I don't really need it here in the Pacific NW and it didn't work anyway. I have not done any other major mods to the car yet.

I have been working on cars since I was 15, and I have been an ASE certified mechanic since 18. I have done several engine swaps including a V8 ford ranger, an '87 CRX 1.5 carbed to 1.6 DOHC ZC FI swap including building the new engine harness for it. My first was a 400M ford into a fox body mustang (traction on that one was an epic fail, but I learned a lot). I have also built and raced "Outlaw Hornets" here on our local dirt track.

Anyway, I plan for the Miata to be my first boosted build, it will take some time as this blasted economy has work slowed way down for me now. My plan is to get a Megasquirt kit for the car first and learn to tune it while still NA, and gather the turbo parts while I am doing that.

I am looking forward to learning as much as I can here on the site, and I am awaiting the delivery of Maximum Boost so I can try to relieve myself of some of the noobness.
