Welcome to the board. That dyno image is really small and I can't make out the power. What kind of numbers are you making?

is there a rule of thumb, regarding power loss from the two readings, i'm pretty new to dyno's, my DIY turbo set up was putting out 167hp at the engine and 138hp at the wheels, does this seem in line with the norm? and welcome nofear , |
Welcome seems like we are gaining members from you side of the pond.

how did you measure you system at the motor? did you pull your engine and dyno it?
fwiw, if your motor DID dyno at 167BHP, your WHP would be closer to 142-145rwhp. |

138HP at the wheels for a turbo setup is very low. Even the most basic greddy kit without intercooler would usually put out 155hp.
it may be worth mentioning i'm still running with the stock ECU so he was limited with what he could do for me, main reason was to make sure the motor was running safe . the main reason really for registering on here, the knowledge regarding after market ECU's and tuning, as i've taken the set up as far as i can going the DIY route, i now need to throw some money at it to squeeze the extra power out. |
