My name is Daniel, I'm from Santiago, Chile, and I just bought my first Miata! It's my DD, and I love it so far.

I can handle myself around the track (did a few trackdays on my previous car, a 2010 Swift), but I'm a total tuning noob, and can't think about anything else than boosting my car. I don't even know where to start, but I'm sure I'll find all the info (and help) I need here. Don't want to blow it up or anything (miatas are quite expensive down here, plus as I said it's my daily), but anything around .8 psi should suffice my needs haha.

Anyway, here's my car as it is right now. I'd like to change the rims, and a new lip is on the way... but yeah.

Welcome to the forum.

Do not boost your DD. Instead, get a 1.8 rear diff because 1.6 diffs fail at stock power. You will also need the 1.8 axles. Strong clutch, better radiator, better suspension, better brakes all come before turbo. Megasquirt and wideband o2 also come before turbo. So do larger injectors. Turbo is a long way from where you are standing.

I guess I should have stated that my car IS a 1.8 hahaha

Megasquirt, clutch and wideband are in the plans, I know I'm gonna need those before. Didn't know about the injectors, I was aiming at the most basic FM kit (pretty hard to get stuff down here, ebay takes ages to ship too, rather get the complete package), but I will look into them. I'm gonna need an intercooler too.

Due to your location, I would honestly suggest the FM no electronics setup. It has the best chance of having everything you need to get going in one shipment. It is a bit pricey, but having to get multiple shipments from the US because stuff is missing or does not fit correctly will be a royal pita. For the ECU get a MS3 from Trackspeed engineering, and order from Flow Force injectors, also pick a wideband from them. Overall this will get you a setup that will just about max out your stock motor and have minimal amounts of shipping to do.

I'll get the no-electronics setup after I get all I need. There's a workshop not far from my house that can get me a PNPMS2 installed for a not-so-crazy price, so I'm thinking about it. Will check flowforce, thanks for that!

But yeah, the less shipments, the better for me, and I'm confident a FM kit will give me less headaches and concerns about my car blowing up than something built entirely by me :confused:
