1.6L pnpecu install TPS and ST_SIGN fuse question

so i finally got my ecu in from stratified auto in canada and I went online to install it and the only thing the directions tell me to do are disconnect the old ecu and put in the new one and run the vacuum hose to the intake manifold. However i came across this

http://www.boostedmiata.com/MS/msq/i...uctions_TS.pdf

which lists that the 1.6L motor needs to have the TPS disconnected and also I need to remove the ST_SIGN fuse and then not put it back.

I am a little confused as to which directions are correct since the directions that come with the PNP do not mention needing to mess with those 2 things but the other instructions list it can cause major problems if they are not done.
I have written to the company but any help would be great.

Thank you

further research shows about the fuse but im still wondering why its not listed as needing to be removed

just remove it. maybe they added something to later mspnp versions that takes care of the ST_SIGN fuse. but looking at the wiring diagram removing it should have no effect.

Where are you in Santa Fe? I'm about to go work there for a bit, but I'm trying to wait until there is snow on the ground.
