1990 1.6 ms3x no start

I've been trying for a couple of weeks to get my completely stock motor 1.6 car to start with ms3x. The car is currently getting spark and fuel but i have had no ignition. Here's my current tune, and I'll go ahead and admit that i don't have much of a clue what I'm doing. Hopefully someone here can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

The guy I bought it from claims it was built by you.

His name was Greg Thill, he told me it was built for him by you and was supposed to go into a 1990 chassis with a 99 motor swapped but he totaled his car before he could use the ms. Pretty sure that's why he has an Exocet now.

I'm not trying to throw the guy I bought it from under the bus or anything, I just wanted to see if brain had any recollection of the guy.
Anyone got any advice for me? |
Did you do anything to allow the fuel pump to activate? specifically jump the connections in the AFM connector when you installed the GM AIT Sensor?

does it actually activate when you key on?

I can't here the pump turn on, but I can smell fuel while cranking and I pulled the plugs out and they were dripping with fuel

I cant look at the tune from here. are you just using what was loaded?

Yeah, I'm running what came on it but have changed a lot of stuff because the tune on the ms was set up for vvt, and a bunch of other weird stuff

Well today I tried running the car with the stock ecu, without the tps or stock 02 sensor hooked up and first turn of the key it started, so I let it run for minute or two and shut it off. Now when I try to turn it back on it will start for just a second and die. I checked the diagnostic box for codes and got code 1 (no ignition pulse) and 26 (charcoal canister). I've tried swapping igniters with my other 1.6 car and it didn't help

sounds like a CAS issue, not ignition.
id ignore the charcoal error for now. |
Haha charcoal canister is removed. The car runs on stock ecu now, didn't change anything, I guess the car was just being stubborn. Can you have a look at my tune and tell me if anything looks wrong?

i didn't see anything glaring in the tune.
need to see datalogs of cranking, composite logs of cranking, and confirmation that you're getting fuel and spark with the MS during cranking. |
Update:
So after a little more than a week of running fine on stock ecu the car has decided it didn't want to run anymore. Just messing around I took out the stock ecu and plugged my megasquirt and the car started right up with the afm still connected. It'll sit there and idle at around 500 rpm and 12.5 afr at idle and if I give it any gas the car stumbles and dies. But I'm really happy right now because it seems this ms might actually work. |
The plugs were soaked with fuel before but I couldn't get it to start. So I guess my question now is how do I get the car to run without the afm?

Another thing is that with the map sensor unplugged the car will start and idle fine but with the vacuum line connected to the megasquirt the car won't start.

I had to set req. fuel to 20 to get the car to idle, and I can drive it around the block now but it's super rich, and doesn't fuel cut on decel.
This is all still with the afm plugged in, the car will not start with the iat hooked up and fuel pump jumped. |
