Default 99/00 MS diy pnp no CLT/MAT reading.

Got a friends PNP here from the enhanced group buy. Got it installed and car running. Not getting CLT/MAT reading what so ever. I burned the readings that are already in the MS and also burned the settings from here

http://www.diyautotune.com/diypnp/ap...0-18bp-mt.html

CLT reads 180 no matter what setting are loaded and MAT is at 70. Was on phone with Brain and we went over all the wiring inside the MS and everything seems to be correct.

Also, which might be related to the CLT not reading, the main fan doesn't work.

Any ideas?

It's hooked up, no idea if it's working. It is brand new.

Another note, when you first start the car, the a/c compressor and fans will come on for only about 10 seconds. They will not come on again unless I cycle the ignition but only for about 10 seconds.

Verify that SG is on 4C and 4F. Brain told me he had it on 4G, which is wrong. Also check for 5V on 3I. Is the expansion board grounded properly though one of the GND pads on the mainboard (it must *NOT* be connected to any of the GND pads on the connectorboard).

Okay, we'll have to pull it apart again.

Snap some hi-rez pics if possible so that I can see the wiring, and mail them to me.

SG to 4F was nonexistent. Put in the wire and the MS works perfectly now.

Thanks!

I had a constant 180F CLT issues when I put the motor back in. I extended the wires on the sensor and somehow one of them had a bad connection. Re did them and it was golden. No idea if you changed anything like that though. probably not, just throwing it out there.
