Default Hesitation with turbo at the top end

Boost comes in strong and full around 4000rpm with FMII H/W, 550cc injectors, DIYPNP, what else do you need to know? My fuel starts at 13.5AFR at 100kPa and tapers to 12.0AFR at 185kPa(12psi). Boost peaks out at 14psi sharply when I get on it and quickly settles to 12psi. But, the car feels a bit sluggish at the top end. I'm running the spark map that many seem to be running with anywhere from 16-19deg advance at 230kPa. I don't think this is precursor to knock. I hear nothing like knock during acceleration. I know I need to get the car on the dyno and really tune spark out. Any other thoughts? Am I really just getting used to the power already? That would be very disappointing. Especially since it doesn't pull as hard as I think it should be yet.

A log file would help, as well as your spark map, where your overboost threshold is, and a .msq file.

What range/gap are your plugs?
