96-97 MS3 Basic 1.4.0 basemap needed
Hi, I'm having trouble getting my car started on a MSLabs MS3 Basic (w/ CAN module if it matters). My ECU is an older one that had a basemap designed to work with 1.3.4 firmware. I already emailed Dimitris and TSE, but maybe somebody already has the basemap saved and could upload it here.
Trying to use the basemap that I have (designed for 1.3.4 firmware) results in a whole bunch of errors, and I've already updated the firmware in the ECU to 1.4.0. Sooo, anybody have that basemap? |
Think the most updated firmware is 1.4.1 if I recall correctly. Grab a basemap from brain's site https://trubokitty.com/#/tune. Just load it up and should work for you.

This is not a base map but is my running map from my '96 with MS3 Basic with CAN from Reverent. It is scaled for 700cc injectors so you will need to change the reqfuel. It is for 1.4.x

Oh okay my bad. Thought that they were interchangeable for the most part. I may still have the tune rev sent me a while back for the base map for my 96 ms3

Thanks guys. I will try those when I get a chance. Working 12 hr graveyard shifts all week :hatecat:

Here's an MS3 Basic 1.4.1 basemap that got me started on my 97 (N/A, stock longblock, injectors and so on). I brought it up from 1.2.x as it had sat for many years unused, accepted the errors, and double checked everything. Been running fine for a year now. I've made a number of changes from this basetun to my own (re-scaling Kpa/RPM, crank to run taper, ASE\WEU, yatta yatta), but this should get you started and on your way to auto-tuning.
