'97 MSPNP2 - New install - Stumble / Hesitation at throttle tip-in

Hey guys. New Miata owner here but not new to ECU tuning. I have many years experience with Kpro.

I just bought a 1.8 97 Miata running the 9697 basemap, with tri Y headers, highflow cat, and a basic open element intake.

I have a slight stumble / hesitation when you just tip into throttle from idle. Just a blip, then the engine comes back and runs fine at the rest of the RPMs.

I have not yet hooked up Tuner studio to data log but would like to ask the question:
Is this a common issue with the 9697 basemap with a similarly common fix? Despite searching, I haven't found anything so though I would ask.

Otherwise I will continue to post what I find on this thread as hammer this out.
Right now it feels like a spark issue but I do see a momentary lean condition on my AFR during these power blips.

The basemap is just to get the engine started. Tune acceleration enrichment.

This.

Base map just makes it run enough to tune it. Every engine will be different in some way and will require fine tuning.
