AFR Gauge in MT still off from AEM Gauge after I tried fixes.

EDIT: Think I got it...anybody mind posting their AFR target table?

Ok guys. I'd really like to start logging/tuning...but I can't do much until both air fuel gauges like each other. AEM UEGO wideband. MS w/ High Res

Megatune reads about .4-.5 higher than the AEM.

-Fixed the mistake of not having it set to p0...:)

-I've made sure its set to Linear in config, and wideband in MT. (In Megatune...it wont let me change the EGO switch point to 2.375...I set it, it changes itself to 2.372...why?)

-I've changed the numbers in the lamdasensors.ini file (doesn't change anything...still seems to be .5 high in MT)

I've changed the settings in the ini file and did see a change. I still think mine is off by a hair so I haven't been using logs recently. I'm currently watching the physical uego gauge and the VE table in megatune and tuning by hand. I'm very close now but I need to get my camera and take pictures of the physical gauge and the MT gauge together so I can trust it and get it dialed in exactly.

What # are you using in the ini file? I didn't get much change at all.

I don't think my number would help you because a.) that number seems to be different for every UEGO and b.) I don't think it's even perfect for mine.

ah, gotcha.

Just hit or miss then?

johndoe 01-04-2009 08:40 PM

pretty much. you have to adjust the numbers in the ini until the MT gauge matches the uego gauge.

Edit: Nvm

Ah, played with some stuff and it seems to be reading a bit more accurately...now just playing with MLV.
