Default altering spark table to match fuel table?

I"ve been using the orginal DIY map table load points and rpm points but I'm somewhat at odds with it and want to try moving it so under 100 is in mutiples of 10 and above is in mutiples of 25 so it will be like
10,20,30,-,100,125,150,etc

I figure if I do that I will also have to alter my spark table mapping, does that sound about right? and if anyone has doen it on a 1.6 or 1.8 have a spark table map that I can look at to see what they changed it to

ms2extra 3.1 code

If you mean that you intend to rescale the fuel table and believe that you must then rescale the spark table such that the two use the same scale, this is not necessary. The spark and fuel tables are independent, and need not share the same scaling on either axis.

Multiples of 10 under 100kpa will **** you off. I set a row for overrun, a row for idle, and then typically space by 15kpa from there. Any tighter and you waste a lot of time tuning cells that the ECU is more than capable of extrapolating.

Hmmm, I think I'm going to agree with this! I put a lot of cells in the idle area (multiples of 5 from 25-50), with the idea of having more resolution/tighter control of the spark/fuel in the idle cells. I ended up making the values the same anyway! And if your brain doesn't extrapolate/smoothen like the code, you'll end up with steps that upset the idle! It's a bitch to tune.
