Aligning AEM WB ad MS3
I've tried to "Calibrate AFR Table" but the reading in VEAL is always .2 to .3 richer than the AEM gauge is displaying. IE- the gauge show 15 at idle, VEAL 14.7.
Is this normal? If not, how do I align it? |
This has been covered quite a few time. Is your wideband grounded to the ecu ground?
|
Yes, both power and ground are through MS3
|
Anyone? Maybe I just adjust the target on the ms3 down (rich) to match? That seems off, but I suppose it would work.
|
Put in custom values for the 'Calibrate AFR Table' until MS reads the same as your gauge.
|
Ok, thanks. It appears that it has two points- a single voltage and afr reading for each of the two points. Enough to calibrate the WB and the MS3?

Just found this:
Bought this for a combo boost/wideband. I will tell you this: THE ANALOG OUTPUT CAN BE TRICKY TO PROPERLY CALIBRATE IN YOUR TUNING SOFTWARE. The sensor is linear but ONLY between .5 and 4.5v NOT 0-5v. if your tuning software or datalogger can accept a fully custom calibration table you will have no issues. other software that assumes 0-5v linear may have some issues unless tweaked. When in doubt the gauge is right 99.9% of the time so rely on those logs if you have to. |
