Another LC1 and MS question

So I was installing my LC1 this weekend and I ran across a problem with the analog outputs.

I PM'd Brain and he said to hook up analog out 2 (brown), but the guide says the gauge is designed to go off of the brown output too. So, what I ended up doing was the brown to the gauge (analog out 2, as is described in the instructions) and putting the yellow (analog out 1) to the MS, against what Brain said but with the instructions innovative included.

For reference, according to the Innovative guide, analog out 1 (yellow) is 0-1v and analog out 2 (brown) is 0-5v.

So, how are you people doing it? Can I punch some settings into MS? Should I splice the brown wire or something?

Thanks.

It doesn't matter as long as you configure the outputs correctly. By default the brown wire is configured for the gauge IIRC. In any event, you want the gauge output set to 0-5v=7.35-22.39 AFR and the MS output set to 0-5v=10-20 AFR.

Don't forget to configure your wideband settings in MS to match.

FTFY.

OP, you don't do any splicing or teeing off from or into the LC-1 output wires, that's asking for trouble. Keep the brown wire going to the gauge and run the yellow wire (output 1) to the MS. As shipped from the factory, output 1 is configured to emulate a stock narrowband sensor (0-1V) but you need to reprogram it as described above using the LM Programmer utility that comes with the LC-1.

Now you gotta open LG Programmer and reprogram the outputs on the LC-1.

The way I told you to do it would have saved a bit of hassle, as the gauge would work perfectly, and the MS just needed to be set for LC-1 defaults.

Thank you! That's what happens when I get in a hurry.
