My car is possessed (tuning issue)
I finally got my knock sensor hooked up so a friend and I took off up Highway 1 to make a bunch of pulls and make sure everything is safe. We set the Knocksense up at 100% not sensitive (anything more sensitive and the LED goes off above 6800rpm in neutral), turned the knock retard on, and set off.
The car appears to be showing a TINY event at about 4600 (not even enough to set the knock retard trigger off) and then a larger event around 5800. No matter what I ******* do, the event at 5800 will not go away. Spark maps, pictures, datalogs, other such **** below. I started at like 11 degrees and I am down to 7, and it still ******* knocks. My AFRs are bang on, too.
If you really want to see how possessed my car is, open the datalog, then compare it to itself and line the two pulls in that log up. Same ******* map, same spark, same exact everything, and one of them knocks.
CA 91 octane, around 60 degrees ambient.

Yes sav it looks to me like you don't have knock and your sensor is being oversensitive. A few Questions i would consider though.
1. Is your OP gauge showing knock?
2. Can you or your buddy hear knock?
If this is true then our cocensus is likely wrong but if the Sensor log is the only thing that points to knock then i would fault the sensor. 11-7 BTDC is awfull low to be running timming that high anyway but that is just my opinion.

I'm thinking the same thing. I cannot hear any knock at all, neither can my buddy. He was driving, I was tuning tonight so he wasn't focusing on the OP gauge and I had my eyes pinned on the RPM/knock retard/AFR gauges on my laptop.
I may try turning it back up and seeing if it's just a localized frequency that can't be tuned out. Chad mentioned I may have to modify the knock circuit to make it a little less sensitive as well.
Totally off topic, but Magna, where do you get your meth? I am planning to pull the trigger next month on a DO basic kit controlled via MS, 75% water and 25% meth.
