Anyone on here using the TPS WOT curve for acceleration enrichment? If so why?

Someone that remote tuned my car enabled this feature. I don't know why but I'll ask him. I'm here though to see if anyone has this enabled and why/ what is your setup? My setup is a hotside mp62 supercharger with oem tb at intake manifold and a big throttle body before the charger. My tps is at stock location. I drive a 2000. 1000cc injectors with about 13psi max. I'd really like to learn if anyone else with similar setup uses it or just who in general.
ecu is mspnp2

I use it. Basically it allows the AE to be more aggressive at lower rpms. It will allow small throttle openings at low rpm’s to be treated as full throttle. Basically because the effect can be the same as full throttle at higher rpm’s. Larger tb’s can benefit more.

Yes, very useful feature for time based AE.

How did you calculate the curve on it? Also how is the pulse width figured when using this curve? This is what I'm trying to know so I can Maybe try to dial it in better myself. I would like to get rid of rich spikes during low rpms.

Are they rich spikes from throttle inputs or random AE activation? I had to dial in the curve by testing. In general, every application will require different AE settings.

they are from throttle inputs. More specifically light throttle inputs low rpm. My AE doesn't trigger randomly. I need to work on the threshold maybe or just ask the guy who tuned my car if he can dial it in better. I'd like to do it myself so I can learn. I've saved his file and started one of my own.

There will be some rich and lean conditions associated with high TPSdot values, which will be relative to the engine speed. The duration is more important then the max or min AFR's. I would turn off the MAP based AE by moving the slider to 100, 4% map control is not doing much. Change the TPSdot threshold from 50 to 25. The % added values on your AE TPSdot curve are very small. Change the 0 tpsdot cell to 0 added, then increase the rest by 10X, eg 10, 20, 25. Try that as a starting point. You need to evaluate the tip in (off idle) accel, then the throttle response at different engine speeds in several gears.

@LeoNA thanks for the tip pun intended although a horrible pun indeed. I will say that the curve in the pic does look low but when I open up the tune on the car those numbers are the same but the curve shape is higher. Ill play around with it. Now if only I can get someone to review my ve table. It's so odd the numbers I mean. I'm pretty much hitting my target afs but the majority if the table is in the 80s or higher.

I made a separate post with this concern of mine.
