Anyone need anything from onlinecomponents.com?
Since they have a min. order of $35 figured I'd order a few of each connector, etc. so than I can get the single one I need and I can offer any of the others to ppl in the same position as me. Don't need a whole lot to do this as $35 will add up quickly but figured I'd order more of whatever connects any of you need.

Perfect timing. I decided to build a megasquirt and i need the stuff for a piggyback harness. I need the following according to the thread here:
(1) 64 Pin Male connector (174518-7) (1) 26 Pin Female connector (174516-6) (1) 22 Pin Female connector (174515-6) (48) .040" Contacts (175061-1) Online components was out of the above but i think part 173716-1 will work (16) .070" Contacts (173631-6) (1) 16 Pin Female connector (174514-6) Also if your still interested in doing this can you pm me with contact info since i dont have enough posts to pm on these forums. Embarrassingly i have a supercharger so i dont have much to post here. |

Not sure if it would help you out at all but I purchased seven of the 64pin male connectors to make stand alone harnesses out of. Came out to $7 a peice. I was going to by all complete sets like your asking for but as you said they didn't have enought of the .040" pins and I didn't know about the other part number you posted. |
i guess ill put in a order with them myself then. From what i can gather from tyco's site the different part number for the contacts is because it is sold to the distributor in strip form rather than as loose pieces.

since danscreations has not gotten back to me, i am assuming they are all gone. i am considering ordering a bunch of these from onlinecomponents.com. they have a $35 min purchase so i would have to pick a few of these up (they run $7 and change each).
i would likely have 4 leftover if i had any interest. i dont want to make any $ on these, i just dont want to have a bunch kicking around my place. if i get a few people interested i will place the order. anyone, anyone? |
booch, I'll take one. When do you think you'll place the order?
|
i am probably going to place the order tonight or tomorrow night. i will hold one for you if you would like.
my build is done other than my harness, so i am kind of stuck right now without this piece. edit: order placed. i ordered up 5 so 4 of them need a home. |
i have one of these left....its posted in the for sale section.
