Autometer Wideband set up
Searching MT.net I noticed not to many, if any are useing an Autometer WB. Autometer uses a 0-4v output, which is fine for the Megasquirt it self, but Megatune doesn't have a specific setting for Autometer. Which leaves the AFR gauge completely out of tune.
Well it is simple to set up, and thanks to the peeps at DIY. They nailed it first try. No trick code, just some simple adjustments. So first the AM gauge is set 0-4v = 10-16, this needs to be changed to 0-4v = 10-18 afr. Press the mode mode button until dSP is shown, then press the select button. The gage will the read "Hi" followed by the setting, press the select button (+) untill you get to 18. Press mode, and it is set. Simple! Next go to the the settings.ini file for your car, and set it to the 0-5 = 10-20 linear. Save and done! Megatune now shows the same AFRs as the gauge. :D

interesting, good write up, but is it worth to have? never knew they had one and i have 3 gauges from them lol. Plus they're expensive!!!!!

This is a very old post so forgive me, but at least I searched. I have autometer gauge 4379. The ultralight street gauge. It is not programmable and has 0-4v range output. how should I scale it in megasquirt then? also it has a data logger + to be hooked to megasquirt and also has a negative. Do I hook both to the megasquirt? Or just the negative. I have a reverant ms2e and in his harness it has provisions for input, negative, and positive wires. He told me to run just the input. Just was thrown with the negative option from the gauge.

Funny, I've been searching all day figuring out how to get my Autometer Elite working with the MS3 and this thread helped a lot. From what I've gathered you need the input and ground both running to the MS (mine has two grounds). Then calibrate the WB through tunerstudio so that both values are equal. I'm still figuring that part out

The most pernicious thing about using Auto Meter gauges is that changing their LED sweep range also changes the output voltage. You'll need to get the output voltage notes from Auto Meter's documentation.

he threw it in the trash where it belongs, and got an actual wideband
