Blown coilpack, possible?

I was following step by step with scott's help on reflashing my MS today. Is it possible to fry a coilpack if the igniter was disconnected during flashing? I ask because Im not getting anything when turning the car over. My battery voltage reads 11.8. Also checked with MSDownloader if I was running the correct firmware and I am. We are stumped on what could cause this.

Did you load an MSQ after flashing the firmware before you connected the ignitor?

I doubt that's your problem (but having been in your shoes at least 3X w/ blown coil packs....) I would first pull the plugs, I bet the engine is flooded (your plugs will be wet) Second I would get a trickle charge on your battery. You want closer to 13V or else your cranking rpms will only be 180rpm, and MS doesn't go below 200.

yeah i walked him through flashing, pulled the ignitor, flashed, loaded MSQ, plugged back in ignitor, wouldn't start. Nick mention something of an electrical arching noise. but i could attributable that to the ebc solenoid.

i guess check for spark. i have a coilpack ill send him monday if it's not sparking, dunno how it would kill it with a pulled ingiter.

Weirdest thing ever, it actually turned over and started today? ::scratcheshead::

Cold start enrichments might be out? Was it warmer today?
