Bosch EV14 750cc Tune Help

Hey,

I got my EV14 750cc injectors installed. I have them running pretty good so far with MS1, using 1.0 dead time and 0.10 voltage offset and 5.5 req'd fuel. With this my idle cells are 60 and in boost after some more tuning should end up in the high 90's up top.https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...ee90101ce2.png

What i would like some opinions on is; If i use the latency data provided with these i should have 0.87 for dead time and 0.13 for voltage offset and then according to the calculator req'd fuel should be 3.6. As a result my idle ve numbers are 90ish and with boost in the 130's. Would i be better off having it set up like this? The reason i ask is i have flipped through a bunch of threads on here and it seems with the ev14 most people end up with idle in the 60's. Would having the table in the 90-140 range be acceptable?

Thanks in advance!

You don't want to fudge your dead times just to move the ve values to what you think they should be. That's really really stupid and will cause many tuning headaches.

Changing req fuel from what is calculated is still stupid but far less so.

Set things to what they should be and let the ve numbers be what they need to be.

What if i did set it up with the correct values and idle afr/pulse width are the same. Would any difference/improvement have been made still?

Interesting negcat. I thought that was valuable info for OP. Am I wrong?

Looking into this more, if i do set it up with the correct values my idle cells end up around 108-110 and up top may end up in the 130-140 area.

Im just concerned that my latency data could be wrong, and i did see the one thread where they discovered the original data for the flow force injectors to be wrong.

Any body else have any ideas about this?
