Default WTF burned another ignitor

i flashed to hi-res, ignitor disconnected the whole time, turned power off, plugged ignitor back in, load old map, start car.......barely started, no tach signal....to get a decent idle i pretty much had to double all of my VE table values, is that normal? i guess the adjustments made now are a smaller percentage thus higher resolution?

you have to load the map BEFORE you plug the ignitor in.

keep the ignitor unplugged the entire time, and I always turn the ign off and back on after flashing too, just to be sure. the ms doesn't make all its changes until after a power cycle sometimes.

i'm an idiot then that did it oh well, i shouldn't be working on the miata this tired. today i took off work since the heater/ac guys were coming, then decided to get some stuff done:
spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, water pump on my truck
removed upper timing guides, replaced spark plugs, valve cover gasket on my 240sx
replaced 2 broken fence posts
then got to the miata and broke it

Yeah, very important when loading new firmware that you load an MSQ immediately before reconnecting the ignitor/coils. Once you've loaded the MSQ you're free to play.
