Default LC1 questions

I wired my LC1's yellow wire to the stock narrow band connector and the brown wire to the DB gauge and pin 10 on the MS.
I also set the voltages with the LM programmer to:
yellow- 0v=10afr 5v= 19.9afr
brown - 0v-7.35 5v=22.4

But the guage and the ms are still reading different. The reading on the gauge seems to be about 1 value lower than the reading on the MS.
WHY?

I DID CHANGE THE SETTING TO LC1- LINEAR

Also, I changed my VE FUEL AFR TARGET to be richer under boost, at 12 afr at the highest boost (im running 8 psi). But when I turn the ignition on the gauge says 8 afr for 30 seconds (the led blinks) then it reads 22.4afr (the led is solid)

When I drive the afr is 22.4 if I dont apply any throttle, when I accelerate it goes to 7 or 8 afr.
WHY? How can I fix this? I added fuel at the VE table (50%) for low rpms and higher from there, still reading 22.4 afr .. wtf

Sorry if these questions are dumb, I read the LC1 manual and the MS manuals but cant figure it out.

Did you set it up in megatune config for LC-1?

You fail. RTFM. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/s.../DB_manual.pdf

I just saw that one myself, I've had it set wrong too. Have yet to run the car with it, that'd be another PITFA.

According to their manual ALL you have to do is select the Innovate 10-20:1 0-5v in Config then "Wideband" in the EGO Control? You don't need to adjust any of the other settings inside the EGO Control menu?

No, actually I chose the option innovative_0_5 linear because I have two output, one for the gauge and one for the MS readout. And I was told that was what I needed to do and it makes sense too.

I apologize. I read your post as you were sim'ing NB with the yellow output, and running the wrong signal into the db gauge.

As far as the rest of your questions, you need to read the megamanual and start tuning.

I will read the megamanual but the LC1 setup is not all there.

No, but most of your questions actually have nothing to do with the model of your wb controller.

Go back to config and set the EGO sensor as LC1 default. Use lm programmer to fix the voltage of both analog outs at 2.5 volts. Take note of the o2 values given by both megatune and your db gauge @ 2.5V. Report back.

Then read the megamanual. Then read it again.

--PS, if you haven't read megamanual, then how do you know if it includes lc1 set up info or not?

You cant use linear because your LC1 is outputting to the gauge and your MS in its own factory AFR range. Its not linear, you have to use default.
After that all you have to do is tell the MS in ego settings what the Stoich voltage is, that setting is the Ego Switch point.

No. I believe you are the least qualified person here to give lc1 advice. So don't.

What choo talking about *****. If you want to use the DB gauge and send a signal to the MS and Emulate the NB at the same time the MS has to be configured to understand the factory voltage range. If you setup the LC1 in the LM programmer for the linear settings, the DB gauge will be off by 1 afr.

I infact am the most qualified here because I went through all the problems there was to go through.

I know what signal has to be sent to the gauge. I told you. Please stop; it hurts my eyes.

Then tell me why he is outputting 0v=10 5v=20 to the factory NB sensor?

Goddammit Sam, he just grabbed that wire to feed EGO signal to the MS.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Uhm, hey dude, you have the linear signal going into the stock NB line AND the default signal going into pin 10?

Yea, the yellow wire goes to the stock NB line and I put the brown wire on pin 10, the gauge is connected to this wire.

uhm yeah, so you didnt think it would be a problem to send 2 different signals to the ecu? one or the other son.

So let me get this straight:
Go to MS and set the lamba to DEFAULT, not linear.
Then go to LM programmer and set:
yellow (goes to NB line) 0v=10afr and 2.5v= 20afr
brown (goes to gauge + pin# 10) 0v=7.35 and 2.5v= 22.4afr??

And then I probably need to go to MS and set 1.175 volts = 14.7 afr?

that's what i read from SAM in other post. But yea it doesnt sound right. Can i just disconnect the brown one from pin 10 and just make it go to the gauge. Then have the yellow be connected to the NB line?

No. You're not setting this up for EGO feedback. You're setting it up to make sure that MS, LC1, and DB agree. Put MS EGO to default LC1, and program LC1 to output the same constant voltage on both outputs. I chose 2.5V arbitrarily. Use whatever you want, but make both analog outs output the same constant voltage. When you do, the DB and MS readings should agree. If they don't, ground offset is the most likely cause.

Once the test is over, you reset the MS EGO in config to LC1 linear and relash the LC1.
