How tough is it to change because a stock CAS set-up and a stock NB2 set-up?

The set-up I used was to run the original NB style crank and cam sensors. I wired them into plug for the CAS. I then opened up my DIYPNP and changed the sensor output from the jumper board to the Megasquirt main-board to the 15-pin connector. I wired the sensors output, power and ground through this 15-pin connector directly to the VVT Tuner, and wired the pass-through sensor outputs from the VVT Tuner into the same 15-pin connector and then to the Megasquirt main-board inputs for the sensor. This was the easiest way I could think of to integrate a VVT Tuner to my current set-up.
If you are asking about a MS3, I cannot help you there, except to say that the NB sensors work great for me. |
a real boss would use two old style CAS, one on the back of each cam, and run the four pulse signal from the exhaust cam and the 2+1 cam signal from the intake cam one.
