CLT values for a 1997
I have had some questionable readings from tunerstudio on my 1997 coolant temperature. I have been using the prepopulated rx7 values.
I decided to take the sensor out and measure myself. 120 degrees F = 285 ohms 170 degrees F = 113 ohms 200 degrees F = 63 ohms I have the bias resistors r4 and r7 in place so the bias resistor is 2490 ohms I have a piggybacked ECU so I'll use bias resistor of 790 ohms. Does this sound right to everyone? I am a bit surprised how different my values are from the other years. Should I write these values on the wiki? |
well.. I must have missed something. I plugged in these values and my cool engine temperature reading is 32 degrees F.
What might I have done wrong? |
use this for coolant:
Temperature F / C Resistance In Ohms -4 / -20 16150 104 / 40 1150 176 / 80 330 try a bias number of 1450. you can keep burning new firmwares with different values and then moving the .inc files to the correct project folder, without flashing the firmware, when you just power on, the laptop will read at the new value based on the .inc file, then you can see when you got the correct bias. I would do this until your AIT and MAT temps are around ambient when the car has sat overnight. |
