Default Where to place AIT relative to WI?

As I reinstall the motor, I am moving the location of my water injection and adding an AIT sensor for the MS-II. My thought is to put both of them in the outlet tube of the intercooler. My question is which comes first, the chicken or the egg?

I am pretty sure I want the AIT at "C" in the attached picture.

If the WI should be before it, do you think A or B?

IF WI goes after should I still put AIT at C and water at D? Or would AIT at B and water at C or D be better?

Any thoughts?

It's been covered before an they can never come to an agreement on how far away the AIT should be, I'd personally put it closer to the TB.

It's on a supercharged car, so the intake flow is
Throttle body
Supercharger
intercooler
intake manifold

I thought I read somewhere that they didn't recommend putting the sensor directly in the manifold, so, the charge pipes are an option, but due to the layout maintenance/replacement would be much more difficult.

I'd suggest not putting it too close to the butterfly valve, I originally had it there and had terrible heat-soak issues at idle, I moved it to a nice cool place after the IC and the heat-soak issue is gone.

I would probably put them as far apart as possible. That way the water would have time to evaporate before hitting the AIT sensor. So, WI at A and AIT at D. However, that is just one small part of the equation.
