Cranking pw's for 440's
I am putting my 440's on today. I did the math for the cranking pw's but in your experience, what should someone be running on their cranking pw's with 440's? Mine look fuxored right now. The 460cc's are what i found of somoenes msq running 460's. Look good? My math came to about 60 percent of my chart. Does anything sound right?
.......Me.460cc's? -40 8.8 10 -20 8.3 9.9 0 7.8 9.4 20 7.3 8.4 40 8.2 7.4 60 7.5 7.2 80 6.3 5.3 100 4.8 4.0 130 3.6 3 160 3.1 2.9 |
I can't find these numbers in tunerstudio... I only have a pulsewidth percent?

MS2 cranking numbers are in req_fuel %, MS1 are plain PWs in milliseconds.

Re: Your column 460CC's. As the injectors push more per pulse shouldn't the cranking PW numbers be lower than the stock injectors? |

Thanks!
I laughed when I wondered how well your car started in cold weather & I saw where you live. Guess those -20 & -40 settings don't get tried out too much. LOL I'm running 460's I guess your numbers would be pretty close. The numbers I have are ok when it's warm, but today was cold (40*F) & it took 10 tries to start it. I'll have to do some studying to find out how to 'fine tune' the Cranking Pulse Widths. As in, how do I know if any particular setting should be 5.1 or 5.3ms? There isn't much difference in the time, but it must make a difference. |
