Default Good news - MS2 closed loop boost control

I just grabbed this from msextra.com:

Hope this one works out good - so I can be driving closed loop boost control in the spring, when my car will be back on the road...

I thought this would be interesting for some of you (maybe the MS1 closed loop gets a workover too)

It is (MS1) Keithg is redoing the closed loop idle to use a proper PID algorithm first and then he's gonna do the boost control.

I said I'd test the idle for him just waiting on a release to do it

They get it right and a few people say it works, and I'll try it.

And here we go:

MSx/Extra EFI • View topic - MS2/Extra Beta 2.1.0 20081229

Won't be able to test this until April, so maybe there is some experiences then...

Appears to be MS2 only? If so I'll wait and see before I make the dive into MS2.

currently testing Keiths work on PID control for Idle on MS1, only P and I are coded so far, but it looks good

If this works as planed the PID controls are going to be ported to boost and EGO control.

Anyone got an idea what the constants for P,I and D for the boost control might be like for us (I know, that this is different for every car, but maybe someine can explain, what a good starting oint could be and how to tune for optimum?)
