I've recently gotten myself DW1000s...

Currently have Deadtime on TunerStudio (MS2e) at 1.62ms and .1 increments per volt in the settings.

The car runs well and keep steady AFR at cruise but idle jumps around all over the place depending on what seems to be based on voltage.
IE. Locked solid at 14.5 idle until my fan flips on/lights or anything to throw voltage off...it'll lean to 16-17 at idle and if voltage drops.

I know I sound like a complete N00b here (and I am)....but hoping for some spoon feeding.

For those interested...Fuel setup is as follows:
DW1000 Injectors
DW300 Pump
Rest of Fuel system is stock and damper removed.

This doesn't sound like a fuel issue but rather....

You're still using the factory alternator, aren't you?

Sounds like it's time to tune your alternator output.

I'm going right ahead and assuming there is a spot for that in TunerStudio with a cute X-Y graph I can adjust tonight and it'll do something...

Sure, but what is the voltage doing when you turn your lights on and off, a/c fan on/off, etc?

Alternator provides power. That's where your voltage drops come from. It'a the only direct link between your lights and your pump/injectors.

Might be worth going over your grounds with a fine toothed comb as well.

Stays at 14.2v. Regardless. Alternator is doing exactly what it should.

I was wrong. It's not rock solid....randomly going down hwy and voltage drops to 12.5v...then spikes to 18.5v... This is all according to tunerstudio but looking at the AFR jumping around accordingly...I believe it.

Turn car off completely...turn car on...everything back to 14.2v as if nothing happened.
