DIYPNP - Cannot calibrate TPS
Ok so I wired everything together, DIYPNP is properly recognized by the computer.
I plugged the unit into my 93 n/a car. First tried to calibrate things and the TPS was not reading correctly. It's all stock, I changed nothing in the tps. TPS is grounded with a resistor per the directions on the diypnp board. The TPS does not respond when I press the accelerator and the numbers are all over. Also its buzzing, and the values keep rising no matter what I do and theres no way to make it come back down unless you restart the car. Do you know what the issue might be? You can't calibrate a stock TPS, because its not actually a TPS, its an on/off switch. You need to swap it for a real TPS. |
Thanks Rev!! And for the follow up pms!
