DIYPNP Help//Built but wont connect
soo heres whats going on..
built the DIYPNP, had never soldered before but i felt like i got the hang of it and got it done..i used the provided MS2/Extra command prompt firmware flasher thing and it doesnt detect the MS. I have a 12v 500ma stim plugged in as well as a USB~Serial cord going into the computer with the port set to COM1 and still nothing..I watched a video that said to turn the buffers all the way down and still got nothing. What am i doing wrong? Does it look built correctly? I have the BOOT pin bridged and in also (not pictured) At this point id really rather just send it to someone or take it somewhere local to SoCal and have them figure it out, im pretty spent on this whole endevour. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1386724191 |
you put D3 in backwards.
actually, you put in almost ALL your diodes in backwards. D3, D11, D7, D5, D6...you're sending 12v to ground and it's shorted out, so it will never connect. |
So can I just desolder them and turn them around or is this board fried??? :(
|
Or can I send it to you and have you fix and install everything for me?
|
okay so everything is connected and good..
when i was installing the firmware, it detected it on COM1 and said "100%" at the end..thats all there is to it, correct? because i now cannot get it to be detected on TunerStudio |
