Jerry showed this to me when I picked up my kit at the DIY shop. It has been hard trying not to spill the beans.

I bet this will sell well in the autocross and racing communities once word gets out, since theres a billion 1.6 miatas running around at tracks and autocrosses around the country.

Here is a thought, does the MS PnP play nice with ABS equipped cars?

Our test cars are not ABS equipped, but ABS is a different computer so it should not be an issue-- if someone with ABS wants to bring one by for a test that would be fine....

Can`t wait for the release of this PNP box! My eventual plans are to go FujiRacing IRTB but for now I want to remove the AFM on my 1.6NA and learn how to tune the MS.

From what I understand I will need are a GM IAT sensor, a CLT sensor and a wide band 02 sensor. It seems the INNOVATIVE wide band controller w/02 sensor (wb-lc1-3769 - $199) is a good option but which of the GM IAT and CLT sensors should I use or is there only one type? Sorry for the newbie questions but I just want to make sure I`m buying the correct parts. TIA!!

everything you need to know is on their website. the sensors are cheap enough from DIY to where there is little or no incentive to source them on your own. I thought you only needed the intake temp sensor and the MS uses the miata coolant temp sensor.

I've been a proponent of the LC1, but it looks like my 2nd one took a crap tonight. Probably just really bad luck, but it's not cool to have 2 go bad within a year.

I believe that if you use the miata coolant sensor, you have to use the easy therm program. With the gm one you don't. I have the gm one, but not sure where to plumb it into the coolant stream.

get the open element GM IAT. you don't need a clt sensor.
oh wait, you're going NA, in that case, buy my closed element sensor i never used. $10.

I see, no need for the coolant sensor, and the GM IAT would be this one --> GM Open Element IAT Sensor with Pigtail?

Strange-- all emails should have been responded to by now for sure-- we get to those daily Mon-Fri, often within minutes. We were out last Friday, but caught up on Monday so we should have gotten back to you for sure. Shoot it out to us again in case it didn't make it and we'll get back to you on it.
